Barclays Premier League:

Although the Merseyside Derby on Sunday is likely to pick up most of the weekend’s headlines, Saturday evening will see Blackburn Rovers travel to Stamford Bridge to play the Champions Chelsea while Manchester City will host Wolverhampton Wanderers. Arsenal are also in action on Saturday as they face Avram Grant’s West Ham United at Upton Park. Elsewhere on Saturday, relegation scraps abound as Wigan spar against Mark Hughes’ Fulham at the DW Stadium while West Bromwich Albion play Blackpool.

Apart from the much-anticipated game against Liverpool and Everton on Sunday, Manchester United will face a tough inquisition as they face Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham Hotspur. The Tyne-Wear derby and midlands derby are also lined up on Sunday as Sunderland face Newcastle United whilst Birmingham City face Aston Villa at St. Andrews.
