FA Cup:
The Barclays Premier League takes a break this weekend, but fear not as all the English teams will have FA Cup ties to look forward to. The romanticism associated with the competition has waned over the past few years but expect some feisty games this weekend as Manchester United take on Liverpool on Sunday.
Expect some giant-killing on Saturday as 8 Premier League teams are in action against the proverbial underdogs from the lower wrings of English Football. Aston Villa have a tricky away tie against Sheffield United whilst Newcastle face a trip to Stevenage. Also, Blackburn Rovers will face Queens Park Rangers at home and Stoke City will welcome Cardiff to the Britannia Stadium.
Sunday will also witness Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea in action. Chelsea will look to regain some much needed form when they welcome Ipswich on Sunday while Tottenham will play Charlton Athletic at White Hart Lane.

9th January, 2011 Manchester United – Liverpool (6. 55 P.M)

Spanish La Liga:
Real Madrid will face a stern test on Sunday when they face a difficult Villareal side while 3rd place Valencia will play relegation candidates Levante. League leaders Barcelona will travel to Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday and will look to open-up a 5 point lead over nearest-challengers Real Madrid. Sevilla will also look to pick up all 3 points against Real Solceidad and make a January push for the European spots.
Bundesliga and Italian Serie A:
The German league is still in hiatus this week. But the Italian league’s fixture list throws up some sumptuous games this weekend as Sampdoria face Caludio Ranieri’s Roma. Runaway League leaders AC Milan entertain Udinese while Juventus face a tricky trip to Napoli. Italian champions Inter Milan are also in action as they face mid-table Catania.
