Disappointingly the much awaited US Open Men's Final between Rafael Nadal & Novak Djokovic has been delayed due to inclement weather conditions. Heavy rain forced play to be called off for today and the final has now been postponed till the morrow. This move has also affected the Women's doubles final between the pairs Shvedova/King and Petrova/Huber. The men's final will now be played at 4PM local time. Indian tennis fans will have to bear another late night as the time difference implies that the match will begin at 0130hrs IST tomorrow night.

There were a couple of junior titles claimed on Sunday with Jack Sock defeating fellow American Denis Kudla, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 to capture the US Open boys' singles title and Russian Daria Gavrilova winning the US Open girls title, defeating Yulia Putintseva 6-3, 6-2.
