The Queen's Baton got demonstrations from shotgun and handgun shooting, table tennis, swimming and badminton teams from the Falkland Island.

The sportspersons are training hard for the major sporting extravaganza in October 2010, Delhi and are leveraging the latest equipment at the sprawling swimming complex and gymnasium at the Falkland Islands Senior School. The sportspersons are confident of making their country proud.

After the sporting demonstrations the Queen's Baton was taken to the junior school where a relay was conducted with all the 250 students through the corridors of the school. The excitement was palpable as each and every student got to live their dream of holding the baton.
