the_undertaker.jpgTables, ladders and chairs is what its all going to be about as WWE: TLC hits television sets this December. Don't forget to catch the action at 10:30am or 10:30pm on 20th December or should you miss it (or want to watch it again), at 5:00 pm on the 23rd.

One of the most exciting match ups of the night will be the TLC match for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship where Chris Jericho and the Big Show will defend the title against Triple H and Shawn Michaels (D Generation X). With all the weapons he needs already with him, there will be no telling in what sadistic ways the "Game" will use them.

Shelton Benjamin will take on current E CW champion Christian after he defeated Zack Ryder to become the No.1 contender for the title at TLC. Christian demanded a Ladder match against Benjamin but whether he will regret it or not remains to be seen.

Batista will have a shot at Undertaker's World Heavyweight Championship as he defeated Kane by a count out to become the No.1 contender for the title. Kane was looking all set to take on his brother, the Undertaker but Batista took out the Big Red Machine's knee, rendering him unable to enter the ring.

The WWE Championship will also be on the line when John Cena takes on Sheamus in a Tables match at the PPV. Sheamus won the inter-promotional Battle Royal which showcased the likes of Randy Orton, the Legacy (Ted Di Biase & Cody Rhodes), Mark Henry, Montel Vontavious Porter, R- Truth and Kofi Kingston as he eliminated Kingston to remain the last man standing. Jesse Ventura who was the Celebrity match maker at RAW added the Tables stipulation as a favor to Sheamus.

The following is the match card for WWE: TLC so far -

  • Chris Jericho & The Big Show v D Generation-X (Shawn Michaels and Triple H) for the Unified WWE Tag Team Championships in a TLC match.
  • John Cena v Sheamus for the WWE Championship in a Tables Match
  • Christian v Shelton Benjamin for the ECW Championship in a Ladder Match
  • Undertaker v Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Chair match

This month's PPV from the TNA stable is Final Resolution and will be aired on Star Sports at 4:00pm on the 23rd of December and repeated at 2:30pm on the 27th of December. Much of the match card is yet to be decided including the participants of the Feast or Fired match. For those who are yet uninitiated to this innovative concept, a Feast or Fired match has a briefcase hanging on four of the six ringposts surrounding the ring. The participants have to scale a pole attached to the ringpost and grab a case. The case can have any four of the following items: a TNA World Heavyweight Championship title shot, a TNA X Division Championship title shot, a TNA World Tag Team Championship title shot or... a pink slip in which case the wrestler who gets it will lose his job!

The following is the match card for TNA: Final Resolution -

  • A.J. Styles (c) vs. Daniels in Singles match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship
  • ODB (c) vs. Tara Singles match for the TNA Women's Knockout Championship
